Yes, there is. Will you return from the dead? “That is not dead which can eternal lie. And with strange aeons even death may die.“ The words of Alazhred are truer than ever as dead heroes, freed from the Netherworld’s suffering hordes, are offered a second chance at life by a succubus and her paladin companion. Bones in the Belfry Having extricated himself from the embarrassment of murdering his lady parishioner, the Rev. Oughterard is now plunged into the traumas of art by the shady Nicholas Ingaza into being a fence for stolen paintings, he endures the investigative probings.

It was no easy decision for people to uproot themselves to settle in unknown places overseas when they had lived within the same area for ages past. Here's my review that appeared in the November issue of Historical Novel Review: This mystery is the latest in a series, Bones in the Belfry, A Load of Old Bones, Bone Idle, and Bones in High Places being the earlier installments. At the start of Hill's highly amusing third clerical mystery (after 's Bones in the Belfry), the Rev. Francis Oughterard, canon of St. Botolph's in Molehill, Surrey, is dismayed when Det. Sgt.   Bones in the Belfry is a quirky, engaging, and utterly charming book. It is not necessary to read the prior book to appreciate how the vicar came to be in his current situation. The dog and cat (who each have their own points of view expressed here) fill the reader in on the backstory. But classifying this story as a mystery is a bit of a : Hardcover.

BONES IN THE BELFRY is an amusing British crime caper that older readers will think of Terry Thomas starring as the helpless beleaguered Vicar who seems to somehow find himself trapped in criminal activities.
